LIfe has been busy, the kids have been growing, business has been building so, as we live life, time flies.
I’d have to say that in the past when I was blogging on a regular basis it has been a very therapeutic process for me. To think, to record, to express has been something that had kept me grounded on what’s most important.
I’d like to think that I’ll be more regular here – time will tell I suppose. But one thing is for sure. As Ellyette grows and as we approach her birthday tomorrow, I’m appreciative of how she’s grown. What a great girl. I love her so much, and she tries so hard on a daily basis to make her dad happy.

Our nephew Jared is having his family birthday party right now. Man time flies – we’re just talking how he was when he was just a little guy.
And of course a b-day party wouldn’t be complete without a T and T Cake!

Today was Elly’s first day at soccer – and it was a lot of fun! She is the smallest of six girls in the team, but she really gets after the ball.
Besides that we have her in swimming and Japanese school which makes for a very busy Kindergardener.

I’ve really been on a burger kick for the last little while – but I think I’m beating the “gourmet” burger theme to death.
It’s just too much. Although I really do feel really man-ish when I put together such a beastly burger with many toppings.
One this bad boy I had a patty that was at least half a pound (it’s those Costco fresh beef patties), relish, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, mayo, Monterrey Jack cheese, grilled onions, fried mushrooms, grilled pineapple, fried egg, tomato, lettuce, bacon, pickle, and avocado.
It’s an understatement to say that I don’t believe in “regular” burgers anymore. But again, more than one of these suckers a month and it’s bad news bears for your belly. It laid Ashton out on the couch for the better part of an hour.

After so many weeks and months and being asked over and over when it’s coming back, and after people stopped asking, our blog is back.
Last Sunday we went for our annual Walk for Parkinson’s in Stanley Park – only it wasn’t last Sunday, it’s this Sunday! Doh. It’s OK Rhonda.
Thanks to Jay for telling us that we were in a Parkinson’s commercial! We flash by at about the 12 second mark.
